Dental Insurance

Dental care is one of the most popular employee benefits and assists employers to attract and retain valuable employees. The WRLA program allows for a variety of combinations of benefit levels, deductibles or co-insurance levels in order to meet the needs of each WRLA member. Some group size restrictions apply.

The WRLA program includes dental insurance based on a 'building block' approach:

1. Basic and Preventative Plan. This includes regular dental check-ups, cleanings, extractions and fillings. Endodontic treatment (root canal) and periodontal treatment (gum disease) are covered at the basic level as well.
2. Major Restorative may be added and this covers crowns and bridgework.
3. Orthodontic coverage is also available.

Some of the most common features of Dental Insurance programs include:

  • 24-Month Survivor benefit clause which allows dependent family members of a deceased employee to continue dental insurance coverage (premiums are waived during this period)
  • Coverage terminates at age 70 or retirement

Plans can be designed with various deductibles, levels of coinsurance, and annual maximums.

Each plan design feature will create different pricing options for each member group. The WRLA program allows for high quality dental coverage at an affordable cost. Some group size restrictions apply.
